The role will be based in our Dubai office in UAE. About Sales Finance The successful candidate will become a member of the Sales Finance team at Apple. With approx. 200 employees based across EMEIA this team works with the Sales function to provide best in class commercial and financial support. Being part of the Sales Finance team means obsessing over the customer experience when problem solving, stripping out what is not essential and focussing on what is demanding the very best from yourself and the rest of the team blazing the right path of action, zeroing in on what is critical and letting go of what isn't being part of a high performing team and connecting with others, asking for help when needed and going out of your way to help others succeed. Role Overview As the Africa Controller you will be reporting to MEA Head of Sales Finance, business partnering Sales teams and co-operating with different functions in different locations. Besides strong finance fundamentals, this role requires commercial acumen, agility and resilience as you will be working in a very dynamic environment with significant growth opportunities in diverse set of markets. The role offers an opportunity to constantly get involved in commercial debates and requires developing a robust understanding of our markets, business/route-to-market structures, partners, consumer segments, sales actions and initiatives.Key Qualifications

Ability to take ownership of all geo-related matters from finance perspectiveAbility to assess investment effectiveness for various type of initiativesStrong commercial acumen, translating into a good read of consumer behaviour, consumption habits, and impact of pricingAbility to understand and keep in perspective channel partners' financials, motivation and behaviour, besides interaction of different RTMsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishStrong knowledge of Excel, experience with Essbase is a plusDescriptionBusiness partnering with Regional/Country Sales teams to set business priorities in a high growth environment via bringing Finance perspective into business development debatesIn order to drive growth, working with Sales teams to develop initiatives/demand generation activities, preparing business cases and post-mortemsPreparation of 3-year strategic plans in co-operation with Sales teamsAnalysing T&Cs, food chains, price walks for various RTMs. Leading the process to develop quarterly plans to spend Business Development Funds in the most effective wayActive contribution to Geo Expansion/T&Cs/Distribution projects, leading the finance work streamsAnalysing business cases for mono brand stores, staffing and programsPreparing Deal Desk analysis for Enterprise/Education deals , proactively leading initiatives to sell LTSI productsActively engaging with partners (carriers/distributors/resellers)Analyse key business trends, evaluate partner/product/initiative performances in the context of prevailing business environmentRunning post-mortem analysis for Demand Generation activitiesBeing an effective leader within a team of high-calibre, demanding, progressive individuals. Degree and/or MBA required. Accountancy qualified or working towards accountancy qualification preferred.Additional Requirements
